I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Jerry Jones would rather go 0-17 and do it HIS way rather than give control to a competent head coach who knows how to assemble a staff and motivate players. What head coach in his right mind wants to step into a situation where he can't even pick his own assistants? What head coach in his right mind wants to step into a situation where players bypass the coaches and go whining to Jerry if the coaches make demands of them they don't like?

    At this point, we'd all be better off if Jerry and his family moved back to the Ozarks and took the team with him, and then make room for a new owner to step in and petition the league for an expansion franchise. Heck, move them to Saint Louis. That's Ozark country. Missouri is north Arkansas, or is Arkansas south Missouri? Don't think this is too far-fetched. The Cowboys are cooked. They are now the DFW version of the Houston Oilers. Even after Jerry is gone, the circus will continue and in fact, that's when the fireworks really start. Wait till the three Jones kids, all with egos like their father, start fighting for control.

  29. No Deion, no Witten for head coach. Bring them in as position coach and work them up yes, but neither are ready to be NFL head coaches. Deion a little more than Jason. How many years has Deion been a college head coach?? Not many.
