Don't get high on your own supply. Do NOT talk yourself into thinking the Cardinals are going to do much in 2025. Anything above .500 will be a bonus but even making the playoffs much less making any noise if they happen to is a real looooooong shot.
Even with no offense last year they achieved more than I thought they would. Last year the pitching especially was what got them wins. They get a better run differential this year and this team will compete. I believe the pitching will be better lets hope they can wake up the bats.
Yeah, sir, I'm not biting on any of this. I'm just gonna say I'm not expecting much from anyone but will take whatever we can get from all of them
I’m always fired up for the return of the Cardinals! Spring training is a sign of warmer days to come and I’m a big severe weather guy.
a dozen or so timely hits or good pitches…….. that's all it takes for a 83 win team to be a 95 win team. The Cardinals certainly could be better than last season……and they could be worse……. a lot more luck goes into the outcome of baseball games / seasons than most people want to realize.
I’m one of the few I feel like has actually been looking forward to watching the cardinals. Sure you can be upset at the front office not being spenders, but there is some good potential talent in the org that I’m excited to see playing.
Winn, Burleson, nootbar may not be an exceptional player but he’s a fun & entertaining one to watch.
Donavan’s consistency, Gorman’s moments (good and bad)
I don’t think I could bet on them taking the World Series, but I see them improving from the year before to last year to now, at least there is a direction and idea. It’s not so much of a shrugging with your hands in your pockets that everyone seems to make it feel.
Cardinals are going to be incredibly mediocre
Offense will be far better, if the Gorman/Walker flight soars. Go Cardinals☝️☝️😀
I am excited to watch the Cardinals this year regardless of their wins and losses. I will be watching to see how the many young members of this team will grow and mature into the future players that they will become. Not all will prosper but I think that many will in the same way that Masyn Winn has blossomed this past season. This upcoming season is the first step in rebuilding the team into what we all want it to be and with new management and new young talent coming, I'm excited to watch it happen!
I will take the over. The offense will bounce back a😅nd the minor league arms will be a big help. Arenado stays and the fan base gets energy with the turnaround and low expectations.
Cardinals would be leaning on turn around from too many players in the roster (Gorman, Noot, Walker, Nado, etc..) it is completely unrealistic all these players start producing at a level to win 85+ games which I think will be need to make the playoffs
Brendan Donovan episode
My thoughts assuming Nado stays
1. We lose Goldie and the bench. Wilson moves to 1B so we have a better bat at 1st. (Better).
Everything else is the same basically
If….
Walker and Gorman step up at the plate this team is a playoff team. If not, they will be bad.
My only concern is the pitching side.
I'm not a believer in Walker,Scott or Gorman. Yes you can back on me if they outperform I will be happy to say I'm wrong. I hope they do prove me wrong. I think the starting pitching staff will be good not great yes even Miles. Bullpen should be solid once again. I think they will be as good as last year.
A resounding…. YES. I haven’t even watched the video yet, but yes, god yes. We are counting them out way too much. It’s honestly gotten ridiculous that people talk about this org like they’ve been a cellar dweller for a decade. Fools work
