  1. You're dead wrong Colin, it's a 2022 repeat, Birds got some red in their ledger that they will get out. Even ignored we have to go through the officials to get to the KC Cheats…..my bad, I meant Cheats, damn Chiefs 😂😂😂

  2. Vs. Rams, Hurts threw 2 perfect passes to AJ Brown and Devonte Smith that were dropped, one because of a helmet to helmet hit. So instead of 15 of 20 for 128, it's 17 of 20 for 188. That's 34 of 40 for 376. This whole 'Hurts can't pass the ball' thing is contrived or just plain ignorant.

  3. Now I remember why I stopped listening to this clown. Way too much recency bias with Cowherd, he's always regurgitating whatever happened 5 minutes ago. Lions will take a step back with their OC and DC gone and probably lose other assistants.

  4. Colin Cowherd: "Washington at 4. I think they can beat Philadelphia."

    Colin Cowherd: "At 3, P H I L A D E L P H I A."

Ya have to LOL! @ ol' Colin. Ya just do! LOL!!!!!!!!

  5. The Lions are going to back and even better come next season. Losing both coordinators are going to be a plus and here's why. I am now convinced that FORMER OC Ben Johnson kind of used this season as an audition for HC jobs. Too many times he just got too "cute" with the trick plays. Especially Saturday Night. WTF was he having WR Jameson Williams throwing a pass in, by far, THE most important game of the season. The Lions offense should have just ran the ball right up The Commanders gut. Johnson's play calling obviously had Goff, and much of the offense confused. One bad game calling, although it was HUGE, doesn't matter. Ben Johnson helped QB1 Jared Goff get straightened out. He also called some, masterful, potent games. HC Dan Campbell has a lot more to do with the offense than most don't know about. The Bears are getting a Ben Johnson without the brilliance of a great "Hierarchy" , which The Lions have built from The President down to the equipment manager. Lions HC Dan Campbell taught Johnson ALL that he knows. The NFC North has gotten way more interesting.

  6. What is it with this narrative that everyone is pushing that the Chiefs beat the Texans despite Houston not turning the ball over? Yes, they did.. They failed to convert on a 4th down attempt. Last time I checked, that's a turnover..

  7. On the Detroit Lions, the coordinator thing could be a concern but, consider the talent remaining: Gibbs, St. Brown, Williams, LaPorta, Montgomery, that Offensive Line, Branch, Joseph, Smith, Hutch, Reader, McNeil, Arnold. If losing both coordinators causes that group to fall apart then they were never that good.

I am old enough to remember the Detroit Red Wings enduring 6 years of soul crushing playoff defeats, including being swept in the finals in '95 by the Devils and then losing in 6 to the Avalanche in '96, despite setting the record for most wins in a season. What happened after? 3 Cups in 6 years. Is that the Lions? Dont know but, here is what I do know – they did not lose that game because they were a less talented team.
