  1. If Jerry hires Schotty im all for it honestly. When his “all in” plan this season turned into a 7-10 record that was fun to see. All his blunders are going to do is alienate the fanbase and eventually we will stop caring and stop showing up.

  9. Number 1 HC priority is that the HC is subservient to Jerry so Jerry gets any credit due and conversely gets the blame when the playoff drought continues!

  16. Comparing Shotty’s qualifications as a HC vs Al Harris for DC is wild disrespectful to the profession. Ya claim Jerry is all about hype but all ya want is names that are hype. Shotty has better resume and track record than damn near every person ya have named, ya just don’t like his name.

  18. I started liking the Cowboys in 1992 while living in Chicago. The Bears had just fired Ditka, my dad was "done" with the Bears, and I needed a team. Even though I was a Super Bowl bandwagon jumper I'll never leave this team. Dallas Cowboys 4 Life. Jerry probably has >10 years left so we'll see what happens after.

  20. I've been trying to convert to a Broncos fan since I live in CO and they have a very bright future, with owners that dont give a crap about the money football generates for them. Anyone that has worked for a small business knows what Jeff is talking about. Every penny that owner pays you is coming out of his pocket and he begrudges every cent, thats the Jones's. They have spent $400 million less on players over the last decade than the best teams. That is the reason they cant compete in the playoffs, they are always working from a talent deficit. You can talk about culture and all the other stuff but its a simple money issue the Cowboys suffer from. Sure a cheap ass team can have success on occasion in any sport when the stars align but its very rare that they can win it all. The Cowboys are the Tampa Bay Rays of the NFL. They get about the most out of what the spend as is possible. The only reason they have had the success they have had the last 20 years is they got epically lucky with Dak and Romo. When Dak is done which looks like it could be sooner than later with the injury, they are going to drop to a celler dweller. The thing is, its really hard to root for a different team after being a Cowboys fan for 40 yrs, even when you see the wriging on he wall. Thats why teams like Cleveland have fans.

  21. If he actually hires Kellen Moore or Schottenheimer……he might as well had have kept Mike. At this point, I would be calling Mike back! Giving Mike a little more than what he was getting before! SMH…..because they took their sweet ass time and didn’t give Ben Johnson OR Aaron Glenn…..we are now scraping the bottom of the barrel UNLESS they’re waiting for Deion or Kliff. These dudes really need to sell this team. Their old style doesn’t work at all! SMH!

  22. Regardless who the coach is, life goes on. The season will be played, and when they win and compete for the division, all will be forgotten. BTW, Jessie's negative all the time attitude is getting old. He needs to be able to pivot sometimes. Schotty has the leadership principles and traits from what I'm hearing. That's enough for me.
