3. Best possible outcome by far because now he can’t get hurt in the 4 nations faceoff either

6. After the amount of “internet diagnosis” yesterday and today, this is good news. Hopefully Allen can hold it down until the break and the skaters step it up like yesterday. I know 4 Nations is an honor for these guys, but I don’t want Markstrom near it.

   This is probably the best outcome. Rest up and let Allen keep us going on a very easy schedule before the break. Also keep resting up during the break. We need you for the acquisition of Lord Stanley, not…whatever the trophy is for this gimmick

19. The injury is unfortunate; however, the timing and apparent severity are quite fortunate

20. Thank god if that’s the case. And honestly we’re pretty lucky with the timing. Ride out the next 7 games with Allen and then we get like 2 weeks off. Hopefully Markstrom will be good by the time the season resumes.

23. Please take this with a grain of salt. I know what I’m talking about but obviously I’m going off of a video and this report, so not much…

    Not trying to be a downer, but with this knowledge, I’m pretty confident it is an MCL sprain… anyone can look those up to figure out what those are, but it is something that should be taking very seriously for a goaltender… in this situation it’s a best case scenario but by no means is it a “whew” moment. That ligament is pretty vital to a goaltender and the last thing you want to do is try to get back fast.

24. Well I’d say that’s a reason to sigh a bit. 7 games until the 4naysh. Who knows if it’s an accurate prognosis or the team is blowing smoke.
