Feds seek 57-month sentence for Mizuhara for defrauding Ohtani

Still think Ohtani actually knew more about this than we are being lead to think.
When a billionaire gets hurt, justice will be swift and harsh.
But conspiracy theorists will still holler that Ohtani was betting. Even after the FBI, the IRS, and the US Attorney’s Office validated the prevailing narrative that he wasn’t. Which if you think about it…..that would be even more impressive than his play on the field. I mean….not only does the guy come over here and play the game better than anyone since the Babe. He also has superhuman powers of mind control and is able to exert mind control over every single investigative department that looked into the matter. A true unicorn!
We have such an odd justice system. One person can run a fraudulent university and be president with no jail time, and the other defrauded a baseball player and could get multiple years locked up. Both are horrible crimes, but it’s odd how they never add up.
57 months seems a bit light
Pleads down to 30 months, gets out on good behavior in 18 months, accesses offshore account for his payment for being the fall guy, retires on a beach somewhere.
And he’s also been selected to play the squid games for his gambling addiction

Ohtani should do the right thing and buy him a pardon.
Wait, are we still pretending ohtani wasn’t in on it? We’re just believing that a loan shark let some random dude get 8 million in debt? And we’re just disregarding when ohtani basically admitted to it?
This man is so guilty he’s got a pardon incoming
I’m not saying I have any inside information. But something just feels fishy about this whole thing.
Who is that loose with their financials to not notice $16M missing? I can see $160,000 or even $1.6M being slowly embezzled over time. But $16M?
And is it common practice for language interpreters to have carte blance access to their employee’s bank account? Doesn’t Ohtani have someone managing his money, who would’ve notice SIXTEEN MILLION DOLLARS MISSING?
And please stop- asking these questions does not make one a cOnSpIrAcY tHeOrIsT. It means a person has a brain, and some common sense.
Just because the official story is that Epstein killed himself in jail while the prison cell cameras simultaneously malfunctioned, do we have to believe that story, or be deemed a conspiracy theorist? Again, not saying I have any inside information on Ohtani. Just asking questions. Something has felt off about this situation the whole time. Journalists certainly haven’t pressed Ohtani about it. MLB doesn’t want to kill their golden goose. Hey, same situation with MJ in the NBA. Not like this is unprecedented territory.
How many deferred years?
Hear me out: There’s zero way Ohtani didn’t realize that millions upon millions of dollars were disappearing. I’ll leave it at that.
He’ll serve more time than dudes convicted of killing capitol police.
Just defer that too
Ohtani is guilty too. He just has enough money to cover it up.
You can defraud the US but not the best MLB player playing in the US who isn’t even from the US.
Dude was in Ohtani’s inner circle and fumbled his entire life away.
Can’t wait for the doc
Ohtani bet on games and he’s the fall guy no way you realize that much money is gone but he’ll do 2 years and defer the next 2 years to house arrest
and yet the people who defrauded americans to cause the great recession got a combined 0 days in jail, even with the Rolling Stone gaining a lot of publicity by criticizing that administration
