Well I can’t imagine he wants to go south
He’d be a good add, I don’t care about the 14 mil, it’s unlikely the cubs are going to spend that money elsewhere. If the Astros eat none, the trade should be for someone near the bottom of the cubs 40 man, it’s a salary dump for Houston. With the current bullpen crunch I wouldn’t be surprised if the cubs were dangling Assad and trying to get them to eat a lot of the money.
