  1. This was one of the best episodes I’ve seen of First Take in a while. Started strong with a really good question at the beginning of the episode and the guys were just honest and relaxed towards the end. Good one today

  2. I don’t mind that coach’s comment, it’s football. What does bother me is that the rules are different for a Jalen Hurts vs a Patrick Mahomes. You should be able to hit the qb if he is scrambling. But why is it that they can take Hurts head off, but if Mahomes is touched too hard it’s a 15 yard penalty? These are the most important games of the season, we need consistency for all 4 qb’s. It doesn’t matter if one qb is better than another, that doesn’t mean they should get more calls. I truly believe if this same comment was said about Mahomes two years ago in the playoffs when he had the high ankle sprain they would have fined the coach for his comments.

  3. Washington is going to risk getting some roughing the passer calls to hurt Jalen. They’re going to be hitting Jalen low even when he’s in the pocket. They’ll take some 15 yard penalties to try and take out Hurts’s knees.

  4. Srephen A. is a clown. This so called "threat" isn't gonna make a shred of difference in the Eagles' approach to playing this game. This Eagles team is physical on both sides of the ball. And Jalen isn't the only one who can get hit. The only thing Witt did was put his defense under more scrutiny by the officials who will look extra close for cheap shots on the quarterback. Kinda stupid to invite that.
