I’ve seen it before. Usually though they are a bit further away. I feel like you could argue this is genuine game interference.

I would think the sidelines would be off limits for a mascot. Maybe it would be more acceptable underneath the basket.
How do you know it’s not why we lost?
This is legit hilarious, sucks we lost, but c’mon that’s perfect.
He gave him the voodoo . 2 chances to inbound
Side note. If Ty was able to make contact with the mascot by extending the ball into his arm it more than likely would have been a 1 shot technical for interference
What would happen if we attempted a wrap around pass and hit the mascot there?

I was thinking the same exact thing?! Isn’t this some sort of interference?!
Jerome needed to complain about it at the time, that shit was infuriating and it absolutely interferes with the first inbound play. There’s no way a mascot or a fan should be able to get that close and try to distract a player
