25. Please I hope they do not trade for Torkelson. I've been a Met fan for a little while and I've followed it all. Since, well, April 1962. Torkelson would be a classic move, a guy who has struggled and has "upside", perfect desperation move for a bad team taking a gamble on hope. This is a very bad idea, don't do this. Don't do this. Don't do this. Don't collect other trams' useless scraps.

30. Torkelson at 25 and we don’t have to touch our top minor leaguers. We do have 3 projects to improve Seri, Alverez and now Torkelson who could make out lineup incredible but they are projects. One thing I Will say about Stearns he will make changes quickly 😊if it’s not working.

    Brother I am w you on excitement about Torkelson. In short, I am down! Cost is everything though. Only problem is he does not fit in what Stearns likes – athletic, versatile guys who can play all over the diamond. We shall see, but I believe a trade is VERY possible in a real pivot from Pete, or even after signing him!!! LFGM!!

44. So how often do teams using youth players held together by a several superstars make it big in MLB? I have followed the Mets for about 10 years, always loved baseball but no idea of deep history. In football in England this sort of thing has worked well often – Stearns seems to be backing our youth product and I think it could be a great idea… #LGM
