Great acquisition. I think he’s great.
It’s incredible Darnold won PFWA’s most improved player award. It’s literally impossible to improve anymore than what Baun did

It really is bonkers. But extra crazy him being an eagle linebacker as well.
What a fucking find and I love how Vic probably noticed and just said you’re starting
I remember that after his first game I thought to myself something to the effect of “That was a nice game. I’ll never hear about him again.”
We’re about to pay this man and he 100% deserves it.
His success seems so random. Were there any hints pointing to his potential to be this great at LB?
Let the universe give all gratitude to DC Vic Fangio for analyzing & confirming that he was playing wrong linebacker position. Saints, w/defensive minded Dennis Allen as former head coach should’ve determined this early on.
So, I’ll preface by saying I want the Eagles to lock this man up.
The most likely situation, IMO, is that there’s another team out there that’s willing to commit more money to the ILB position than we are. I hope Baun will look at it through the lens of seeing what situation is best for him (Birds), but it’s not a position with a ton of longevity and he can command a big ass payday. Can’t hate if he wants to get paid.
Remember when we all thought Devin white would be the starter. Screw that guy Baun is the man

As much credit as possible to Baun for the amazing things he’s done for our defense, but how about Vic Fangio PERSONALLY selecting him because he knew he’d be a fantastic linebacker even when he’s never played that position before? The turnaround of this defense compared to last season is mind-blowing.
