After last nights game, we are basically tied with Charlotte and Toronto, with New Orleans and Utah within striking distance. Realistically, I can’t see us falling below Utah and the Wiz.
If we end up with the third worst record, does it guarantee a good draft pick for us? Not sure what odds are for us falling; but I figure we would be in much better shape compared to the six spot we are in now.
For those who are following this draft class, how would you determine the early lottery. Is it Flagg big drop off Harper big drop off the rest? Or more complicated?

The main four in this draft class is Flagg, Harper, Ace and Jakucionis. After that, VJ Edgecombe is in his own little world. Then it’s a drop-off. At least on the surface.
If we don’t end up with any of the first 4 names I mentioned, I’ll be an unhappy Nets fan.
Flagg and Harper feel so, so much safer than the next few guys.
Flagg and Harper have answered most of their biggest concerns going into the year.
There’s definitely a variety of top tier outcomes for Bailey, Edgecombe, Kasparas (who are tabbed as the likely 3-5th picks), but definitely more risk.
Kasparas lack of visible strength / athleticism seemingly curtails his ceiling or team flexibility.
Edgecombe is the best athlete of the class and Bailey is a good athlete with a 6’10 frame, but both guys are very raw in a number of areas.
I’m honestly surprised we suck this much. When we trade Dennis I thought It could’ve been too late and here we are. Anyways, there’s a lot of quality in this draft, but somehow I think we’re gonna end up with Ace Bailey and that would not be good at all
