Are the Yankees Developing the Next Aaron Judge… But Left-Handed?
The Yankees are developing a prospect who looks eerily similar to Aaron Judge—but from the left side. Spencer Jones, a 6’6″ powerhouse, has been working on swing adjustments that now mirror Judge’s mechanics, and his raw power is undeniable. In 2024, he posted a .259/.336/.452 slash line, hit 17 home runs, and stole 25 bases, but his rising strikeout rate is a concern.
Is Spencer Jones the next great Yankees slugger? In this video, we break down his strengths, weaknesses, and what the future might hold for the towering prospect.

Sorry for the long break between videos was out of town! Question, how soon will we see spencer jones in the Majors? Bonus points if you recognize the hat. Also huge thank you for 800 Subs!
He needs to keep his weight in check. It's the reason for the 25 SB and his defensive abilities. But he reeaally needs to cut down on strike outs cuz 9 in 2 games is wild crazy.
Great job Kris! Awesome info!
I’d love to see Jones turn into really good ball player. An outfield of all home grown talent, Judge, Dominguez & Jones would be exciting. Great video Kris.
Ceiling…… ADAM DUNN
I like his slight leg kick(in the recent videos I've seen
I want him to season all year in aaa, then compete for the backup OF role next year.
Good video.
Aaron Judge or maybe Rixke Sexton.
Great info. On S. Jones. I can see him In center field with Bellinger and Dominguez on either side. That would allow Judge to move to first base and save his legs for more productive years in the future. Hope Jones has a great spring training.
aaron judge should introduce him to his offseason trainer
He has a lot of skills but cannot hit a high fastball.
If they don’t trade him.
This dude gonna be a bust watch
He looks stiff but what do I know?
I believe bringing him up while Judge is still in his prime is key 🔑. Put him batting near Judge and he will get pitches to hit
You never know with prospects. Sometimes you get an Aaron Judge. But more commonly, you get a Greg Bird. The jury is still out on Dominguez. Jones? We'll see.
Big diffence between dodgers and Yankees . Yankees didn’t deffer money to anyone during that 90s run. I subbed to you as well
love your content and your delivery, great job
I despise the Yankees, but I love quite a few of their players, including this kid.
So if he is so good why not give him the chance insted of spend crazy money for somebody else?
Keep him and help him bring the strikeouts down. 500 plus homers don't grow on trees.
NO they are developing the first Spencer Jones..
I think James Wood might be the next Aaron Judge, but who knows.
200 plus strikeouts a season they better trade him now
When Spence shrinks the K Zone this dude is going 2b a threat ! I really hope top somehow see him in the Bigs =Sometime this year !! Hopefully at least giving Goldy some time off!!! Players often have a break through and it all comes together !! Jones isn't that far away!!
His swing looks like Cody’s
Stop this exit velocity Crap. Base hits score runs and it’s proven. Otherwise you have entire teams striking out all in the same game 💩
