Just a garbage game from typical January Kings. Someone pointed it out but trying to play perfect defense and praying Kempe scores is not a strategy. This team will be lucky to not free fall to the wild card

It was never Todds fault. This team has too many guys that dont move the needle and Blake can’t get out of the contract situations. Another year of the same. Sucks man
Period 1 was pretty solid, but really felt like it was all Wings after their own goal, which was pretty surprising. They hung Darcy out to dry most of the game and didn’t do anything with their customary one PP in this game. Not sure what we have to do to draw more penalties… really frustrating.
Kings earned this loss, but the officiating in this one really sucked too. Credit to Danault for being the only one to throw the body after they teed off on Turc for like half the fuckin game. GKG

In our last ten besides the Canucks game where we faced a team that is in full panic mode, we have not scored more then three goals in a game

They’ve forgotten how to score, and the power play remains atrocious. Time to AT LEAST change the power play coach?
We do so good against teams that are good and then just get absolutely wrecked by teams that were better than. Tonight was gross. Oh well. I still love you kings.

I was at the game in person. I thought the first and parts of the second were pretty good. Outside of a flurry in the third period, it was absolutely dismal. The whole team looked uninspired and tired. Really hoping they can turn it around.

Something I’ve been thinking about the past few weeks. This team played really well when Moore and Lewis was out. When they were out I couldn’t think of how they would make us any better. I think the 4th line looked amazing with Lee and Helenius. Just keep rolling 12F, Let Akil, Andre, And sammy run wild on 4th. Send Moore out (Sorry Trevor I love ya but it’s time) and get somebody in to get some scoring ability. Don’t know who to package with Moore though, Could be Laf (Sorry Laf I love you too). I don’t know. Ramblings of a madman.
This is the collapse that ends the season. But it was great up until January, right? Praise be to Rob and Luc. See you next season.
