  3. As much as I would love for the Colts to draft a great Tight End, I’m surprised mock drafts don’t have the Colts drafting an offensive lineman in the first round. The offensive line could possibly have three new starters next season.

  4. QB is the biggest problem. There's just know way around it. I'm being totally honest as a colts fan since 1962. No QB, no playoffs or Superbowl!!!. Take it for what it's worth.

  6. Looks like Jake is in the process of convincing himself that the Colts will cut Braden Smith and Samson Ebukam. Complete nonsense. Ballard ain't cutting one of his best draft picks in Braden Smith. True that whatever is happening with Braden Smith could lead him to retire. But the Colts will simply redo Smith's deal. They won't cut hiim…you dont cut good players. Ebukam played great in 2023..above expectations. Then he got hurt for all of 2023…won't get cut. He plays well in 25…that helps the Colts slow play Latu..and he isnt getting paid that much for a good sack artist.
    The dude who actually might get cut is Raekwon Davis. The Colts can save money elsewhere by not resigning players like Speed, Blackmon, and Kelly.

  7. In terms of cuts…why do the Colts even need to create cap space? They have cap space as is…they dont need to cut good players to get more. They have enough cap space to add 1 high-priced S or CB and an additional moderate priced free agent probably also for the D(someone who has won with Lou before).

    How many starters do people expect the Colts to have..who arent currently on the roster?
    2-4. TE, CB1 at least. Depending on who they dont resign…(Blackmon and Speed)…they could also bring in a new S and LB from outside. Assuming 2 players come from free agency and 2 from the draft…the Colts dont need to cut good players to create capspace.

  8. Jake and Zach, I’ve never had more respect for you guys than at this moment. I don’t care that you’re getting paid, having to stay engaged with this team between now and the draft seems like a torture mechanism used at Guantanamo Bay. I don’t even want to remember they exist until the draft, where I’m sure we’ll take 6’8 325 RT who had freak athletic traits before rupturing both Achilles at the same time on the same play
