Finally they did something
What money problems? We’re signing an all-star MVP here.
Not bad I like it. Now we only need a LF, DH, 2 starting pitchers and a bench!
This legit might be the best news we’ve had all off-season?
We’re so fucking back
When’s the parade
I expect an OPS above 800 and for him to be fan favorite
Seidler brothers furiously driving through downtown looking for Preller, ready to execute him for spending money

Was hoping for Grandal, but at least it’s *something*
First Gary, then Higgy, now it’s Elias’s turn to become a masher at catcher
I’ll take it
This is kinda embarrassing.
Yay
The league is fucked, we are so back baby
Good small deal. Bridges the gap to salas.
Thank god we won’t be rolling with Sullivan or Maldonado as the only alternatives to Campy. I’m not expecting Diaz to have a Gary Sanchez/Higashioka type resurgence but he should easily be better than our other options atm.

That’s cool af. Say, did they come to an agreement with King yet?
this is as much as we can overpay for someone
what a difference a few years makes
Definitely prefer this over trading for Christian Vazquez

I know we’re in a budget crunch, so if this is the only signing we make, so be it. We absolutely needed a veteran catcher who could put the bat on the ball. We can fill gaps on our roster with young talent, but catching is the one place where we had to get an experienced player under the age of 36 to hold it down for a year or two.
Also, I wonder if this signing means we’re close to dealing Cease or Arráez.
AJ, did they say you could spend money??? We are so back with this signing
Well at least we have 2 viable catchers now.
Finally, some good news for a change. Welcome back, Elias!
Holy shit. I am totally happy with this. Hes great stopgap for Elias and that price is great!

If he slugs 20 home runs this season that would be a big improvement.
