  5. Ben I’m really confused. The Trust states they transferred a 30 million dollar ranch in Texas to Sheel after Peter’s death in 2023. They also purchased a 8.5 million dollar home in Coronado and fully furnished it for her. And paid out 4.5 million in cash. What is this all really about?

    The Trust says they’ve transferred 42 million to Sheel since Peter’s death. That’s a ton of money. I thought she said she was destitute?

  11. Only the Padres and AJ know if they will be willing to extend King on his terms. We all know they won't be able to sign Cease at the end of the season. SO, if they can't sign either one then they should just trade them now and fill all the holes on this roster and beef up the minor league system. I can live with a down season if it means coming back in 2026 with a young revitalized team with promise. They could play together for a couple years before the young catcher and shortstop already, and hopefully they won't disappoint. Like I said only the Padres know if their intention is to spend the money and extend King.
