10. I think Luke Schenn makes a ton of sense. Obv. I wouldn't want the sens to give up much to get him though. The other issue is that I don't think they can keep Hammer on the books if they get him. He'd have to be waived or in the trade.

16. With cousins going on the LTIR…. That would free up cap. Space I would look at doing a brock Boeser, some sort of winger that could play with Stützle. Yes we are trying to make the playoffs but over the next 2 to 3 years we want to better ourselves in the playoffs and go for a cup so getting a Brock Boeser or something like that with the Going up 9 million next year we need a winner top six for Stützle

17. I think david perron is effectively our trade deadline pick up. Although if we could get luke schenn for cheap i would 100% be in.

    Id like to see crooker or halliday get a call up. Although i am hesitant to change what is working. I could see them adding some depth scoring. Merilainen and Matinpalo have been able to translate to the nhl well. I think halliday could too. Hes a smart player and can shoot.

19. Joel Farabee is a guy I wish Ottawa would look at. Cost to acquire should be reasonable, and he has term.

20. Micheal bunting is a name I would like to see come to Ottawa. 4.5mill this year and next. 0.55 points per game this season from Ontario. I don't think he would be to expensive

21. The questions are: What do we want and what do we need. It's obvious that we want to make the playoffs. What do we need? For me, it's more goals. The defensive system is good, and we need someone who can score. We had a goalies problem, and we hired the best available, Ullmark. We should do the same and choose the best player available who can score goals. We have plenty of guys who are good average players. We need a player who can fit with our star Timmy. That's my humble opinion.

22. I'd like to see Stevey add some more experience. Doesn't have to be a home run. Just show the boys that they're believed in.

23. If the Sens add someone, it should be a grinder like Trent Frederic. Simple minded folks will say Sens need a goal scorer, but the lack of goals is clearly coming from their new playstyle. Scoring has never been an issue with this core in the past, its always been the defense. For the first time ever, the defense is less of a concern than the offense and the results are better than ever. Over time they will become more comfortable playing like this and guys will start producing more without sacrificing their defensive game.

29. I definitely think Donato should be a target for the sens 100%. Another guy to trade for (but his team won't be trading him so this is a no go) Is Pavel Buchnevich. He's a setup guy and plays hard. Unfortunately, you'd have to trade a core piece away to get the room to fit his 8mil AAV contract that starts next year. The sens have lots of shooters. They need a setup guy.

30. Frederic number one forsure Donato then Gourde I juat don't think boston will give him up for less than a 2nd and I want us to keep our top two picks for a cpl seasons

32. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Sens would only be taking on the remainder of the contract for that player this year. ie. if they trade for a player who has a cap hit of 5mil… if they only have 25 games left that cap hit would be 1.5 mil…
    Sens currently have space after LTIR is all said and done.

33. Saad on unconditional waivers. Would love him as a middle six option if Sens can get him for 1-1.5 mil. And you don’t have to give up anything.

34. If it were somehow possible, I would love to see Boeser added along with Oleksiak from Seattle if they could swing it and get Seatle to retain some salary. With those 2 additions, we’d get that top 6 winger that’s missing, and an addition to the blue line that could be a shutdown player along with a PK defenceman and take those hard minutes off one of the top 4 Dmen. I’d keep Klevin and Oleksiak on the 3rd d pair, and if they bring Yakemchuk up at all next year, Oleksiak would be a great partner/mentor
