What’s your Jaguars unpopular opinion?

  1. Gabbert could’ve been a good QB. I think he had the tools and raw skills in college that could’ve been refined. Im convinced his decisions and situation really killed any potential he had.

  2. I really like the London games and wouldn’t have a problem with them playing 1 home and 2 away games there, especially for the years where we’re constructing the stadium.

  3. Lawrence could be great and our franchise quarterback or he could just be mid and never meet expectations. We truly dont know yet. Idk if thats an unpopular opinion but some jags fans think hes already guaranteed a top 10 QB in the league.

  4. Luke Joeckel was a good pick. Before getting hurt he was dominating defenders. It was career ending injury for most player but he was so gifted he was able play five more season at guard.

  5. Press Taylor wasn’t that bad, and some of the players deserve just as much blame as the coaches for why we were not good last year.

  6. There was no scenario on earth where Blake Bortles developed into a player worth taking 3rd overall. He’s still my favorite jaguar of all time, but the dude was B+ on his best days. Do I wish we could have seen him with decent WR’s? Do I wish we would have tried to make him work over Nick Foles? Of course, but that’s just my personal opinion not based on fact. It was just not going to work out.

  7. I dont like the DUUUVAAAL callout cheer thing. Maybe it’s because I’m not from the states but a lot of other teams have way cooler ones, even the Vikings swedish “Skol” although Sweden is a gagbage country full of garbage people

  8. If Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter and Mason Graham are gone at 5, the Jags should take Tet McMillan

  9. I think Walker was a good pick. In no way do i consider him a bust and I do prefer him over hutch if for nothing else, each player got to stay close to home. Hes competitive. Hes improved every year.

  10. The 96-05 success this team had may be the best we’ll ever see.

We’re constantly chasing that dragon and honestly with how I’ve seen this team run, there’s a good chance we may never see it outside the occasional every 7-8 year single playoff win.

I hate to think that way but there are definitely teams in the same boat as us that are just perennial garbage (Jets anyone?)

  11. I love T-Law but we overpaid him on his extension based on what he had shown. I still think he could be the guy for us, but we shouldn’t have paid him as much as we did, when we did.

We gave him Top 5 QB money when he hasn’t ever had a season to prove he’s worth that.

  12. I don’t think Super Mario Shad does a terrible job as an owner for someone who knows next to nothing about football.

I liked the helmets with the gold on them, because they wore them during the best season of my adult life. (I was 13 in 1999)

  13. Nathan Rourke I think was technically talented as well as smart enough to be a good QB, dude was just not a physical monster. Think he should have been a higher ranked backup than Beathard for the time we had him though as he was deff better than Beathard at the end.

  14. I think we would’ve done fine with Gardner as our QB, drafting Jamaar Chase in 2021, and we would’ve been in a better situation than we are currently. I don’t think we end up with Urban as coach and got someone else.

  15. With how much I love Trevor, I still have serious questions about if he’s a franchise quarterback or not, if he doesn’t get it done this next season, I’m done with him. Just because a guy could be good doesn’t mean he will be good. Trevor has all the potential to be the best quarterback in the league, but will he ever get there that’s yet to be seen.

  16. Even if they had given Myles Jack the turnover we still would have found some way to still lose that game.

  17. Glad Press isn’t here anymore but he’s a 3 year OC with a lot of experience Ben Johnson hiring him as pass game coordinator is not a dumbass move like everyone’s making it out to be, he’ll just be another opinion in the room for Ben Johnson’s offensive scheme.

  18. Giving Liam Coen seemingly complete control of the franchise after being a great OC for one year is not what serious teams do and an insane gamble. It could work out but this is not good process. There are red flags already.

  19. Doug Pederson was lucky to win a Cinderella Super Bowl and has been riding that ever since, and he knows it.
