  1. I’m really glad Clarke was scratched again. And I’m even more glad that Turcotte was benched for the entire third period while Lewis continues to get ice time. This team isn’t doing shit until the front office is cleared out and they go through another rebuild.

  2. Good God our offense is horrid lately! Rittich looked great but the team needs a shake up.

  3. There’s only one solution that will turn this team around. Bench Clarke for a third consecutive game.

  4. When we beat the Panthers last week, I commented that we didn’t look very good doing it and noted my fears that we would get rolled on this roadtrip. I was criticized for for my negativity. After losing our 4th straight and 2nd straight game of being shut out, I’ll be accepting apologies at this time.

Anyway, doesn’t seem like playing 12/6 and scratching Clarke while continuing to play the likes of Edmundson and Lewis is really working out, is it? This team can’t score and the people running this organization clearly do not want to win.

  5. Folks, the Pokemon Vileplume will unfortunately go hungry again tonight. I will feed it when the Kings next score, which will be on Saturday at the earliest. Lets continue to support our team so we can save Vileplume from desperate hunger so that it may live to see its friends again. Thank you.

  6. Guys who played hockey in the 90s want the team to play hockey like it’s 2012 in the year 2025. Not winning shit until these dinasours are run out of town

  7. Fuck it let Lewis run first line forward at this point, I don’t fucking care this team is ran by delusional maniacs that refuse to do the right things. Sure he isn’t the only problem but good lord get him off the fucking ice.

  8. In some good news, I’ve been asking around and the consensus is that January ends this weekend

  9. What is this team right now? There’s no way having both trevors back, and doughty can produce this little offense. Being critical is only fair, what the fuck is this team doing when they’re on the road?

Lock the fuck in, I don’t mind playing the oilers again because that dragon has to be slain but if we get a another year and it’s because they won the division and we got wild card I’ll lose my mind

  10. I’m not getting emotionally invested. Let Doughty gel, bring Clarke back, let the injured guys recover during 4 nations. Come back looking good or just sell

  11. The good news is that we play the Canucks at home on February 26th. This can’t last forever. The bad news is that’s a really long time.

  12. At what point does Blake make the decision to cut the cord!!! Keep Byfield, Clarke and start building around them Doughy and Kop will be off the books soon. This team is allergic to driving the net, everything is from the outside. Teams that do well on PP make quick passes (one touch).

  13. Obviously we need something to change, but how can we expect that when our coach looks like he’s half asleep behind the bench every game! He needs to light a fire under this team. So tired of watching them

  14. On the trade block: Moore, Fiala, Danault, Jeanot, Lewis, Spence, Englund, Burrows.

The point is, Blake complete bungled the rebuild. Sacrificed player development for 3 first round exits.

  15. BSD showed up and that’s about it. Spence looked terrible all night making bad decisions. If Mikey wasn’t out, hiller should’ve benched him. This team has no jump right now. The guys who were brought in to be tough don’t do enough. Team had no mojo until Cernak hit Laf late in the game. Byfield continues to show he’s not it. Gets slashed by Cernak and shakes his hand, no response by him or the others on the team. So frustrating. Fire Rob Blake.

  16. Groundhog Day isn’t until Sunday, guys. Tired of this same script over and over. Now that dry (goal) January is over, can we please start finding the back of the net again?

  17. Out of 13 games this month, we scored more than two goals twice. We got shut out 3 times

  18. We need some Phil Kessel to light up the house… does anyone else smell dirty hotdog water?

  19. Oh shit here we go!!! Kings never disappoint with their ability to underwhelm. I’m changing my 3-7 prediction to 2-8 over Doughty’s first 10 games back.

    We’ll never score again!

  20. This is a genuine question for someone who follows other teams closely. Is this a pretty standard thing to hit a “wall” as a team? It seems like the kings as a group go through this thing where they almost look unfamiliar from the team of even 3 weeks ago.

  21. Team has no creativity on offense whatsoever. we have 2 forwards that can score and 9 grinders. All the trade talk is dumb since the cap space is horrible. Real contenders make big moves like the Rantenen trade. This team just keeps the same “we are right there, just need to move the needle a little bit” attitude that is seeing the rest of the league fly by us.

It’s just sad seeing this entire era be wasted. It was setup so well with the old guard teaching the young core “how to win” but all thats happened is they learned to defend a little bit better. You need game changers. Beside Kempe this team hasn’t produced anyone else. This just comes down to bad development and an unmotivated locker room. After Sutter left the leadership hasn’t really done anything to keep a “winning culture”

  22. The NHL can’t be thrilled with the clown level hockey being played in California. The good news for the league is Anaheim and San Jose are starting to stockpile some talent.

  23. Originally had plans to go to the game in Raleigh Saturday but had to cancel. May end up a blessing in disguise considering our play right now

  24. going to the first game back home on wednesday, if we stay in this form and put up a donut i will write a very sternly worded letter
