I like Brandon Hughes a lot. Big fan of this. And this error might make Patrick Mooney mad, which is funny
Minor league deal, can’t hurt to get a closer look to see if he’s back to his old self

I like this. Always liked Hughes and wanted to see what he could do if he was fully healthy.
A lefty who misses bats is always worth a look, but Brandon has walked way too many batters over the last 2 years. Unless he can fix that, he’ll have a hard time pitching in the majors again.
Always good to sign left-handed relievers to minor league deals. They’re always in short supply, so bettering the odds to have one to promote when needed is a positive thing. To that point, I am rooting for Riley Martin to tame his walk rate because his K rate is intriguing.
