Perhaps the long term contracts for our vet core might be an advantage (I know, I’m reaching)? All those guys are locked in to their salaries. Whereas anyone getting a new contract under (much) higher salary caps will be asking for equally inflated salaries. So our “new” cap money could go to buying younger talent instead of raises to existing vets. Or yeah, Trotz will add to the retirement home 🤦🏼♂️
