Look Wilson's promoting himself telling everybody that he wants to be in Pittsburgh doesn't say he wants me a starter he likes playing in Pittsburgh and playing for the Steelers I would say his manager or agent is in negotiations with the Steelers right now because they don't have any quarterbacks they have a guy that they signed how's the backup quarterback that's really does not have a great track record so until the Steelers make a commitment or a financial decision on the quarterback position he's always going to talk positively

12. Russ came into camp as QB1, and Tomlin said he was QB1 even while hurt. I wouldn't say Fields lost his job here. He played better than anyone expected but Tomlin had his guy and gave him the job back once healthy

13. Russ has been acting like hes our QB next year with several quotes lately. If they do that Tomlin is even more of an idiot that I already think he is.

14. What ever they decide will be seen as it will unfold on the field. The main reason, I wanted to see Fields play in at least two of the last five games, is to see if the QB change would matter. Was it the line ? and so on. Too many reasons or the main reason. I believe he could have put those teams on their heels. Thank you DK

15. Wilson has said he wants to play five more years, that mean he still think he's good, won't be willing to be QB2.

16. I'd rather move forward with Justin. I don't feel like Russ is going to have significantly more success than Justin. There's a chance Justin will have more success.

    Worst case scenario, we finally have a bad season. Then we actually have an opportunity to get a high draft pick.

17. Justin looks like a bridge qb to me. Can't read a defense fast enough and inconsistent accuracy. Won't ever be able to accomplish much in the playoffs when it's proven you have to be able to sit in the pocket and deliver.

20. DK, would it be fair to say that bringing Fields back may be the best option and that the Steelers should optimally look for a quarterback in the 2nd-4th round (i.e Milroe)? I think he would definitely be a project QB but the upswing would be the possibility of another Jayden Daniels

Like I said in a previous episode, Don’t be surprised if Russ Sweet/Smooth talks his way into being the guy & Dan Rooney is the perfect Simp to sell it too, Especially as you speculate we use a prominent draft pick for a QB, because then your vesting that high pick as your future and who better to learn behind? Wilson or Fields?

28. I wouldn’t say he lost his job in Pittsburgh. Russ was the QB one from the start! Y’all love to get stuff mixed up. Tomlin named Russ QB one from the beginning and he got hurt so it wasn’t Justin’s job to lose.

38. Steelers are currently in the "sign over the hill Qb" stage of their franchise. Making the same mistakes garbage teams do. Giving up Kenny (as bad as he was) and not waiting to see if you could train that 1st round pick.
