Schottenheimer and the rest of the offensive staff all understand how important the OL is to a football team. They hire a former highly touted offensive and defensive line coach and you think they will draft RB/WR first? LOL, you better pay more attention to detail than that. These hirings tell you what the focus is. It’s not RB, I can assure you! Yes, they will draft a RB and WR in April. But their focus is on the offensive/defensive lines. They know that’s where games are won and lost. Better brace yourselves, and get mentally prepared for what’s coming. They will more than likely draft the best lineman on either side of the ball. My guess would be an offensive lineman. I think DT will stretch farther this year. My guess is they will target RB on day 2, as well as DT.

I like Hampton from UNC just as much as Jenty. I trade down for another 2nd. Pick Hampton later 1st. Get your WR and OL both in 2 nd.
It is an interesting thought experiment regarding say the first two picks. I lean Jeanty as he's most assuredly BPA, but I'm also cognizant of the value of a RB in Rd 1. RB/OL? OL/RB? WR/RB? Honestly, just don't reach and you should be okay. I'm also not sure Jeanty makes it to 12. Bears seen like a sneaky team to land him with Johnson there now. I do think Kaleb Johnson would be a damn fine consolation prize if we miss out on Jeanty fwr.
If we’re building on running coaches, then let the coaches decide the best pick. JEANTY is the best seen in a long time.

I would double dip on RB's, its a deep class, and grab at least 1 WR that be a starter preferably with speed. DT is also fairly Deep, i would go freeagent for the o-line having drafted two last year

There are Several Back's that will be skipped in the first round,my second options would be, Ollie Gordon, Kaleb Johnson,we already have flashy if they utilize the run block Schemes,We need a Bruiser who can tire out the second level
Take Jeanty if he gets passed Chicago. If he’s gone take Burden ,Obuka or Golden than go get your RB in the 2nd Johnson or Henderson.You need to help Ceedee go get some weapons.

I would pass on him. They need way more needs and there's a lot of great RB in this year's draft.
All this line talk. How bout getting a receiver that can get open and make plays. Dak leads the league in tight window throws and the recievers are worst in the league at getting separation. Get a RB that can get more than 10yrds when there is a hole to run through. Sure, you need a good line, but damn you need some guys that can make plays. The line is good enough, its not great but its not horrendous. The skill players outside of Ceedee are just terrible. Fergusen didnt do anything this year either. In 4 consecutive years the Cowboys drafted Irvin, Troy, Emitt, and Harper with their first round pick. Since harper was drafted in 1991, they have used a total of 4 first round picks on offensive skill players. In an offensive league, this is just more malpractice by Jones's.
This draft is rich in RBs but if Jeanty is available we can’t afford to pass on him. If we do that then we’ll know it’s the same old ish
After Zeke’s downfall, I don’t think this team takes a running back first round everybody everybody’s high and gently when you can get the same production out of Judkins from Ohio Ohio State in the second pair him with Ricoround dowdle not like dowdle will want Zeke money. They had one good year with the Cowboys that was last year and it wasn’t even good until midseason and then they brought Ezekiel Elliot back to be on 12 punch and all he was getting in the way and slow down offense. Until they let dad take over but I believe that paired with another running back that one two punch ran back room would light it up, but I’m against draft running back in the first round this running back. Class is so deep with talent, that it’s crazy. Use that pic on a player that will make an immediate impact. We can run back 2 through five in this draft be decent at running back for awhile I have to buy Zeke money cause he wasn’t a first round pick which ultimately helps the rest the team because then you got more money you can put somewhere else

Best OVERALL player, PERIOD! Not the best player at position of need like they have done the last 2 years. They used to be so good at drafting over the last three to four years years they have switched it up and ALWAYS take needs. Explains the depth issues, explains these last 2 drafts showing a miss in the 1st 2 rounds, explains why we feel so damn hopeless. Better spend big in free agency to accommodate their shitty drafting!
