  4. I don’t care how easy the opponent is, playing four games on the road in six days is fuckin ROUGH, especially when those are late games. No matter what happens tonight, this road trip has already been a smashing success.

    Still, let’s win this installment of the Cephalopod Showdown and come home with a perfect 4-for-4 road trip under our belt. LGRW!

  6. Sucks not being able to watch the games during the week because they start so late, but on the plus side, it has been nice having the first thing I see in the morning is that we won.

    We scored 4 in the first period last Krakens game, let’s double it this time boys!

  9. My birthday is the 9th. Gf has to house sit that weekend. Gonna go to the game on the 8th, anyone know what section would be best chance to catch a flying puck? Im decidely too old and not make-a-wish-ish enough for the ice crew or players to toss me one 🤣.

    Not that i plan on actually catching one, and id probably feel obligated to hand it to some squirt anyways.

  10. This one feels a lot like the loss to San Jose that ended the last win streak. It was coming off a game where the team play was slipping but they still won but following it was an off day with no practice to fix anything.

  22. I told myself I’ll just watch the first period tonight, the issue with that is if it’s a good first period I’ll most likely be hooked to watch the rest of the game. As long as we win, that 4am alarm clock won’t hurt so bad.

  26. I’m coaching two of my youth roller hockey teams tonight! Not sure that anyone cares, but I really enjoy seeing the kids improve as the season goes on, that means more to me that winning, especially at these age groups. They also happen to be winning quite often as well, so that’s an added bonus!

    I also found the added benefit to tonight’s start time; I have enough time to get my kids home after their second game; get all cleaned up, and eat dinner before puck drop!

  34. I know we’ve been winning and you don’t generally mess with a winning lineup, but you’d have a hard time convincing me that Tarasenko shouldn’t get a game or two off. McLellan seems like the type of guy to bench a vet if need be, he has looked atrocious.

  35. I don’t care what anyone says that was a trip on the Preds breakaway. Contact below the knee that leads to a fall, even if he held his feet momentarily and hit a rut, is still a trip. If he went down immediately it would have been clear cut but the action of the defender is what makes it a penalty. It doesn’t really matter Nashville is terrible and weren’t going to win anyway.

  37. Listen, I know I’m just being a salty homer, which is why I’m saying this here rather than in r/hockey lol… but if Larks had been the one getting shoved to the ground in that Minnesota game, I swear Ryan Hartman would be suiting up against Boston tonight.

    10 games is correct. Also, Larks has had his neck severely injured, been literally knocked out on the ice, etc and the only person who missed games behind shit has been him.
