Mason Crosby officially retires

  1. Loved him. He has (I believe it’s still current) the longest consecutive made field goal streak in playoff history.

That’s what matters. Nails when it truly mattered

  2. Do they still do “sign a one day contract so you can retire as a ______” thing anymore?

  3. My weird take is that Crosby wouldn’t have survived in todays era of quick reactions and social media. Crosby was under 80% on field goals for each of his first 4 seasons. In his 6th season he made 63% of his kicks and was 2-9 on 50 yarders. I am glad we stuck with him because he became a really great kicker; but patience was needed. He’s a lesson that kickers (and all positions) can sometimes take very long to work out.

Congrats on the retirement Crosby. Hell of a career.

  4. Have a great retirement Mason! Thank you for all those consistent years of kicking.

  5. Crosby was the first Packers jersey I bought for myself, rather than receive as a gift. Always picked him up for my fantasy teams. One year he scored more fantasy points for me than temporary Packer Jimmy Graham.

  6. Probably the only kicker who’s jersey I would proudly wear on game day. Thanks for the leg, silver fox.

  7. Loved all the moments together, good or bad, I’m glad to have had him here. Enjoy retirement, Mason. 💚💛💚💛

  8. Legend. Packers all time leading scorer, and that will be hard to top.

I named my first born son Crosby.

  9. And he did it all without sexually assaulting anyone, or voicing any draconian religious beliefs! Unlike some other kickers I know…

  10. First jersey I bought for myself, $200 Throwback uni of him, dont regret it. One of my favorite players, started kicking because of him too.

    Thanks for everything!

  11. I haven’t teared up like this since my dad and my dog passed away. Happy retirement to one of the best packers ever 🙏🏽
