I think King understands why his contract had to be constructed the way it was to accommodate the realities of an entire team payroll.
Si glad ti see him sign a contract the Padres could offer. And if he likes being on the Padres and wants to stay there will probably be another contract for him ti sign either later this year or in freevagency.
