All I hear is how “weak” this class is but tbh I’m pretty happy with the spot we’re in. I know there are a lot of never-Sanders dudes out there getting all riled up, but if we take either of these then I think we’re in about a good a spot as one can hope for.
After these last few weeks I’m leaning more toward Ward
A coach talking good about one of his players, shocked I tell ya
Seems like college coaches are always happy to glaze their players ahead of the NFL Draft but it never hurts to hear him talk about how much he got in and got to work and took over the team. Different at the NFL level versus with college kids but still
Like that he was sitting down with the OL coach and guys to work on protection details and didn’t throw them under the bus even if they fucked up. Because he’s going to have to keep that generous attitude up lol
Huge takeaway in the differences between he and Sanders from this interview is how Ward never blamed his lineman. Someone who has consistently been shown to elevate his teams and teammates rather than tear them down when things are bad. That’s needed guys who can do that but all the more better if they’re the QB.
Sounds like the kind of QB this organization has never taken which is a good reason for them to take him. Don’t get me wrong i would love abdul carter but we really need a QB.
God damn how r we gnna fuck this up
I’m on the Ward train full stop. The more I hear the more he seems like the right fit. Hell Levis right now couldn’t pick up a free defender to save his life.
I’m sorry, but if we can’t even have a casual interview with Sanders w/out his dad butting in, it tells me that a) he can’t stand on his own feet and tell his dad to f’ off when he is managing his own affairs or b) Deion will be lurking around a lot, which distracts his son from doing his job. Sanders needs to play in a flashy market like NY or Vegas and nit Nashville.
His leadership and prep is what sold me on him
I’ll be so disappointed if Ward isn’t the pick.
