What the actual hell? Is Lauko is made of glass. This is what? IR trip #3? Clearly a recurring injury and he should consider surgery in that instance. Sucks for the guy, seriously.
Hate that for Grapes. He’s been so good every time he’s been in the lineup, and his chemistry with Khusnutdinov really solidifies that 4th line.
Had to look Hinestroza up. Older guy, AHL all star who’s bounced around teams. Not really a scorer
But wtf. Just put Guerin and Modano on the squad at this point.
I’m trying hard not to doom 🙂

Damn, Lauko. Dude isn’t gonna make it a few more years in this league at this rate, he’ll just fall apart on us.
We should have seen this coming after how hot we started. Too good to be true
I think at this point we need to consider trying to find a 4th liner at the deadline. The ship has sailed on accruing enough cap space for that 2nd line spot and the core injury Lauko is dealing with clearly isn’t going away. Need to do better than Shore and Jones come playoffs
Hinestroza reminds me of Lettieri. A bit of skill, not really a fit in the bottom 6. Don’t really like the claim to be honest
NOOOOOOOOO LAUKS
I’d really like to see Hynes shake the forward lines up; Boldy and Zuccarello make sense together since they are our best wingers, but I truly think Rossi would be a better fit between them instead of Eriksson-Ek. If they insist on keeping Foligno on the 2nd line, Ek seems like the more appropriate choice for that line anyway.
In my opinion, Khusnutdinov deserves an elevated role; how about an Ohgren-Khus-Gaudreau third line? I know our forward options are limited, I’m just spitballing here. For those concerned about disrupting the 4th line center spot, Shore (or even Trenin) has played plenty of center and could fit in that role.
I’m reading people saying he’s been an AHL guy is this a fit for Iowa then?Â
