  17. You said it, Allie. What he brought to the Celtics was “strong defense & good 3 point shooting off the bench, just like Sam Hauser”. In other words, he duplicated abilities that other players also supplied. What do you call a player who duplicates the abilities of other players at a higher salary, while mostly sitting on the bench? You call him “expendable”.

    PS: I also like what I saw of Springer, the few times I saw him in action.
