New Jersey Devils Recall Simon Nemec & Place Nico Hischier On IR
The New Jersey Devils have recalled defenseman Simon Nemec from the Utica Comets of the AHL and placed Nico Hischier on Injured Reserve.
– Jonas Siegenthaler was injured Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins, leaving an opening on the NJ Devils blueline.
– Captain Nico Hischier was injured on January 25th in the game against the Montreal Canadiens. He was listed as week to week, and now he has been moved to the IR.

Injuries came at the right time right around the Nations cup
It just kills me to watch our division get stronger and I still don't know how these teams are able to do it. Its crazy even Brad Marchand is rumored to be traded 6.2 mil is too much but he can win face offs and is very irritating to play against . I am excited to see Nemec back in the NHL. I think he will shine brighter than he did last season. He will add some youth and speed to the defensive lineup. LET'S GO DEVILS
Oh shit! Sad to think Nico might be out longer but Nemo on the main team is so exciting. Hatakka would've been a fine replacement for awhile, but it felt bad wondering if Simon was just getting disgrunteld for no obvious reason.
