I’m going to feel good about the Carter pick cause that’s what I want them to do. I’m going to trust them on the Dart pick until it doesn’t work out.
I’d root for him but how many day two QBs have to bust for us in a row before we take one high again
I don’t think Dart would be an upgrade from Levis, might as well just stick with him if this is what we’re planning on doing.
Lubing up for another great year
Wait for next year when we pick at the top of the draft again and the QB class is “not good” (turns out Arch wasn’t ready after 1 year starting and no one else really looked great) while Ward/Sanders leads their team to the playoffs. Everyone would say “well if we had picked Ward/Sanders WE wouldn’t have been successful” as if our franchise is just cursed. Then everyone again insists our team just isn’t ready for a QB and we must select a WR to give Dart a chance to prove himself cause he just had no weapons. Rinse and repeat
I would explore a new low that even being a Titans fan for the past 20 years didn’t think was possible
Enjoy watching Carter, and whatever vet comes in to play here. No way Dart starts his rookie season.
Too high for dart
Jaxson Dart looked horrendous at the senior bowl
I’ll be pretty disappointed if we draft a non-QB without trading back, first.
Got to solidify the support before we can honestly hope to even polish a exceptional QB. i.e. know we have one. Fortunately we got rid of Ran. Unfortunately not before he burned 60% our capital. We atleast get a generational RB, and a solid 2nd pick choice. Most likely an edge, but we could pick up Booker to move Skorn on the outside. Warren is a solid choice who probably won’t be there. WR could happen but I’d only take Bond, between injury histories, speed that can compete at NFL, and production to SOS. I would consider Fannin as a unique pick at a potential WR3 and red zone target on his production. CB wise Amos Barron. Safety Watt, Emman, Mukuba. DT (not really needed) Collins. LB: Jhaad & Knight. QB: McCord or Howard, RB+1 (with Jeanty as first pick) Johnson.
