  1. Bout damn time. If he doesn’t injure his neck, him and Favre have a couple of rings.

  2. First Take tomorrow is going to be off the rails

9 year old me had an 84 jersey, 16 year old me was devastated when he got hurt. He’s the greatest receiver in franchise history not named Don Hutson…

Sterling you were my favorite until you retired. Congratulations

  3. Excellent news. For a while I didn’t think he had the longevity but then others with similar career length have gotten in, so this is so well deserved.

  4. Loooong overdue! An all-time great Packer, and one of the best players I have ever seen with my own 2 eyes period. So incredibly happy for him!!

  5. Damn, that’s truly awesome. Didn’t think it would happen.

Wonder if the Packers retire his number?

  6. So pumped for Sterling. I really did not think i would see it. But he is a hall of famer.

  7. Omg this is so awesome!! He’s one of my all time favorites and his brothers hall speach about him was great

  8. If Unc gets to do the induction (which I can’t imagine he won’t), it’s going to be outstanding. He’s been campaigning for his big brother to be in the Hall of Fame for a long time.

  9. Should have happened a long time ago. I didn’t know if he ever would and I considered it ridiculous he wasn’t in. The guy was arguably better than Jerry Rice when both were in their primes; and even then he should be on his own merits.

Whenever I think of how Sterling was snubbed, I’d think about when his brother got inducted, and Shannon said he was the only person in the Hall of Fame that was only the second best player in his own immediate family. Made Sterling shed a tear and he was the guy that introduced Shannon that day… shit gets me every time.
