  1. Remember when it was said they have the easiest schedule remaining? That was something.

  2. Sliding into the final months of the season. Christ we suck.

  3. … man I don’t want to go to the game tomorrow. I can’t handle watching this shit in general anymore, let alone in person 🙁

  4. Their play has been concerning all year. What’s alarming is the fact that they have totally checked out. I don’t know how you have that poor of an effort against the Sens, get three days rest, and come out to lay an egg against a team you consistently mop the floor with. The only people who are held accountable are the prospects.

  5. Well hell, Kimmel played less than 12 minutes, had 6 shots on goal with no points…. He now only has 14 days to show he can score multiple points in hardly any minutes before Trotzy puts him on waivers…..

  6. If Poile and then Trotz flipped a coin to decide if they should make every decision or potential decision they have made over the last 4 years I honestly think we would be in a better scenario than this.

  7. I took a nice long break from posting because I realized I was continuously commenting negative things all the time. But after that game I just want to make one point: Something past the players and coach is fundamentally broken with this team, and I think that lands on the GM. I know people say he needs more time, but this season has shown that Trotz is astronomically out of his league at playing GM. We have hemorrhaged young players this year, and loaded up with aging and under performing “serial winners”. He got the coach & system that he wanted, and then proceeded to load the team with players to CANNOT thrive in that system. Plenty of blame to go around this year and we already know its a lost cause, but holy shit I have no idea how they bounce out of this with Barry at the wheel.

  8. Yes, the team is broken beyond repair, and they would have to improve by leaps and bounds to even approach terrible status, but we just got 1 step closer to that top pick on the first round!
