  1. I never got why everyone liked him as a player, apparently great locker room guy but generally streaky and unplayable in the playoffs

  2. They need to start feeding the mini van some six packs. Clearly they haven’t unlocked his life source yet. Didn’t Koby leave any instructions for how to care for him?

  3. George will grow on them. His heart is probably kinda sad. He went from chasing rings in Cleveland to Atlanta’s looming rebuild when Trae asks out this summer.

  4. Niang played 1.5 seasons in Cleveland and he’s already one of my fave role players ever. Put some respect on that man’s name

  5. He now has 14 pts on 5/9 shooting. I don’t know if you’re just trying to make a joke or slandering the man, but why can’t we just be happy with the trade and respect the guys who helped us get here.

Niang was a valuable member of this team and I have nothing but good things to say about him, and these fans are likely going to have a very different feeling given he’s made like every shot since this post.

This is giving me the weird “omg wtf is detroit thinking, jb bickerstaff ruined or team” vibes that still linger on here. People can’t let go of the past and be happy with our current success.

Get this toxic shit out of here.

  6. Niang knows his lane, he stays in it, and he’s good in that lane. He’s not some harmful firecracker like Oubre.

  7. He’s a role player in his first game with a new team. Not sure what anyone expected. He’s a guy who can get hot from three and swing games. But when he’s not hot from three he’s nothing special because he’s a net negative on defense.
