5. You assume Dak can even stay healthy. I have my doubts. Hes not athletic looking anymore, and injury is a real concern. Have a good plan B imho

7. Why all these trades for players with a lot of wear, endless injuries, and histories of never being happy with either their contracts or something else? Deebo has been a difference maker but not worth paying or bringing in via trade unless it's low cost. We are not close enough to being a threat to be taking shots on well-worn veterans. We need players that will still be prime when the rest of the roster is ready.

10. Cowboys need to trade back in round 2 or 3 and acquire a 4th round pick. That is the sweet spot for any position player that falls from round 2. A perfect spot for an excellent RB or OL.

18. I’ve said this many times unless the receiver from Arizona is on the board. I’m trained back one or two are two times getting as many pics as I can try to get an extra third and then get a fourth and make some extra lower pics. If you can draft Nolan with a late first rounder, Jeff Walker with a little higher in between second round pick then you can worry about trying to get your running back, which I’ve said before I like the Cameron Skattebo possibly get either a receiver a safety corner in the third ramp your fourth round drafted either one of the ones you didn’t draft fifth round you can you have 3/5 you can have a running back you can draft the other positions in six run if you get an extra 626 or something, you can add those pics you can just if we come out of this draft with about 10 players if 10 to 12 players if you play your cards right this is why I kept hounding do not win those games if you had not won those games that I kept saying it was a mistake mistake mistake it should’ve kept trying to lose every game out there. You would had a better shot to get a better player that you would’ve come with which you would’ve got that defensive from Penn State or you could’ve got the or got someone else if you cover it in the draft instead, you won three meaningless games that you should never have won

Hey Tom do you think that on Draft Day if we get all the way to our 1st pick and Jeanty is still on the board, do you think that Jerry wouldn't (WOULD NOT) PICK ASHTON JEANTY because Emmett Smith had already made it clear that he is OPPOSED to JEANTY coming to DALLAS. which makes no sense even #22 knows n understands how badly this team needs a RB, so if Emmett really did express his dislike for JEANTY it could only mean 2 reasons why. So in my opinion #22 doesn't want JEANTY because he's afraid that Jeanty will either break #22's records or there's something about JEANTY that Emmitt knows and he was asked to keep it under wraps, and maybe possibly had to sign a NDA, Or something of great greater or equal value and obviously there would've been special repercussions if anything had been leaked.
    Anyway I'd like to get ur take on this whole possibly faked conversation that took place. 1st I'd like to know your thoughts, also I really like to know your stance on the situation if it is real where do you stand obviously Ashton Gentry brings a lot of depth to the offensive line especially the position where we need them at running back, And he could possibly be the key to us moving beyond the first round of playoffs and possibly making our first Big Game in XXXyrs. I'm not sure about everyone else but over these last 30yrs I've stayed true to my team even though some years were very, very DIFFICULT. I've been a Cowboys Fan since I was 6(1984) which funny enough before I was a Cowboys Fan, I was a BILLS FAN Who would've thought that after becoming a Cowboys Fan in 86' my new football team would square off 3X in the 90's to which we all know how those 3ganes played out. Anyway in 2016 when deck took over and That season became one of our best seasons in a long time and for it to happen with a rookie quarterback a rookie running back in a couple other rookies and obviously some good vets on the team I thought for sure we had a team again that was going to start dominating and do things. Then when we made the playoffs that was even more excited. And then slowly but surely everything started to go downhill and I don't even believe that it was that Jack was a fluke or Zeke became lazy I believed everything started with the Jason Garrett era and when I saw Jerry doing what he always does shops in house for coaches players brings back old players coaches it seems like he's built a level of relationship with the player or coach and when he sees an opportunity to bring that person back is it because they have better themselves or is it because Jerry already knows that they understand their role should they come back that he is the number one no matter what your position is I guess what I'm saying is to have a chance at a great running back to possibly fill a spot we need a lot of help in and then here that Emmitt Smith doesn't want him to play in Dallas it's a wonder why the former great wouldn't want a gray running back to come play. Only makes you wonder not to mention did he get in Jerry's ear hopefully Jerry and/or Stephen haven't heard anything about this otherwise he might call Emmitt into the office and ask him face-to-face what his feeling of Ashton Jeanty is and why he feels so strong and adamant about not having Jeanty be a Cowboy
