Isles are constructed as is right now that they can hang in there with perfect play, but they can’t outperform their mistakes. The former is the Vegas Golden Knights, the Lightning, the latter are the Jets and Wild games. It is what it is, and mistakes sunk them tonight but outside of literal bounces off isles D and own goals, I can’t really point to any egregious blunders that signaled they deserved to lose.
