Here’s the thing at the end of the day. If the chiefs win, not much really changes with regard to prestige. They’re already a dynasty team. A 3-peat might put them over the patriots dynasty but even still it might not in a lot of people eyes. Mahomes would still be #2 to Brady (at least imo). Andy Reid read is still either the #1 or #2 HC depending on who you ask. The cultural dynamic of the NFL changes very little.
If the eagles win… they’re already obnoxious now with just 1. Think about how much worse it’ll get with 2.
None of this is to say I WANT the chiefs to win, but when you’re stuck with a choice between the asswipe from high school who’s annoyingly successful vs. Hitler – theres a clear choice.
