1. There is Cesar Prieto also as infield prospect. They need to trade from their strengths (catchers, middle infielders, outfielders) for pitching and a slugger that doesn't bat under .200. Love the people we do have, but we need to shuffle the deck a little.

2. Will we give Wetherholt Crooks Saggese Davis and Kopernick a real chance and if they do well who loses out

3. Use Mikolas as your 6th man and Matz as long relief

4. You guys didn't talk about 3B assuming Nado leaves. Is Gorman a lock?

5. You know when JD states a "lack of move is because the Cardinals really like what they have". I see a real problem with this from fans to management. A little feedback guys, and please leave the pom poms at home. Thanks😅

6. I absolutely LOVED the Matz rant! I am in full agreement: Put him in the BP! We've seen what he does out of the pen, and it's pretty damn good. They can't afford to have him make 4 starts and go down injured for 6 weeks. That is just money wasted at that point. Sure he's making 11 mil, but if he's always injured it is better spent on a guy that can do long relief vs. a guy who's always in rehab.

9. I want to see Crooks, Redmond and Wetherholt on the opening day roster. Don’t worry, I never get what I want. Cut miles and make matz a reliever. Why wait to start the youth movement

12. The organization has said Herrera is the catcher of the future……Oli will start Pages more than Herrerra. Mo said this will be a reset and we are going with youth. We have some good young pitcher they need to talk a look at in the rotation…….Oli will have Miles as his #2 and Matz as his #3 and have the young guys fail in the bullpen.

17. Front Office should have forced Arenado to accept the deal to Houston. The whole issue is whether he’s there or not.

    With Arenado around, I’m giving Donovan 2B and Gorman is the primary DH. Burleson is in LF and Walker in RF. 1B is Contreras and Herrera is at C. Nootbaar gets CF. Winn is obviously a lock at SS.

    Not sure if this is ideal, but it’s the only way it works

18. If you want to see something positive, watch Winn or Herrera. If you want to be depressed watch Gorman, Walker, Nootbaar or Scott. The rest are pretty much just plain old vanilla.
