  1. Beasley is on pace to get to 319 3s. That would give him the 7th best season ever. He’s chasing history. He’s on pace to beat Klays best 3 point shooting season ever. He’s hitting another level. He’s on pace to literally have the 3rd best 3 point shooting season of any player ever. Only behind Curry and Harden. Insane. I think it’s time we start keeping an eye on that more, and supporting him. That’s a very competitive and historic list to make it on. As a 6m free agent is absolutely crazy. Pay the man 25 million idc

  2. Not surprised about this at all, and most of us that follow the Thompson Twins knew how special Ausar was on offense and defense. Ausar was actually the more aggressive scorer and Amen the more aggressive playmaker. But they are both special and high IQ on offense. The main difference was that Ausar got blood clots. Ppl need to be patient.

  3. Just started watching the video, but I've noticed the team evolving before our eyes. The team was first all about Cade/ Ivey/ Beasley, and now Ausar and Duren are unlocking new aspects of our game. While I'm looking forward to the postseason, I'm anticipating how this team will look next season with growth, more time together, and a healthy Jaden Ivey…. we gotta keep Beas around too tho

  4. You said Cade "might" be all nba 3rd team. he will for sure be All nba and maybe 2nd team. Superstars are dropping like flies and ineligible to make the team.
Superstars that are ineligible – Luka, AD, Kawhi, Embiid
Guys that are on the cusp of not making it – Giannis, Durant
Other stars that are ineligible – Paolo, Ja, Chet, Franz, JimmyB, Zion

  5. This is all credited to the coaching staff. This is basically the same team from the previous year with the exception of six players(this includes Cade finally been healthy).

  6. People talk about Cade having a similar game to Luka or Grant Hill but if you look at the way he uses pace and basketball IQ I think you could make a case the way he plays resembles Tim Duncan. Not the same body type or position but the way he impacts the game without letting the game affect his play style or his impact play to play has that slow and steady getting himself and his teammates in the best places for positive plays.

  7. Team Ausar over here! When Ivey & Duren are eligible for the extensions this offseason I REALLY HOPE Langdon put thought and possibilities into it. Because giving them both the FULL MAX would be insane to me

  8. Its not surprising to see ausar playing well. We saw him flash high level drives last year, despite playing alongside 2 bigs and Killian Hayes.

That being said. They still don’t use him correctly on offense. He still spends a lot of time with his knees bend in the corner. A lot of those points are in transition.

  9. What I appreciate most about Ausar's play of late is he's not just hoisting 3s for the sake of hoisting 3s. Not sure why people wanted to make him out to be a three-point shooter. That's not everyone's game. He is proving that a 2 pointer is more effective and efficient when you're running the ball down your opponent's throat.

  10. I didn't think Ausar would unlock the offense only because of how he was used last and in the first half.

A weaponized Ausar Thompson should hypercharge your offense.

When used correctly — transition, roller, cutter, dunker, one pass away, initiating actions so you have to guard him — and when he's being instructed correctly — be aggressive, get downhill — he's a devastating offensive player because of his athleticism and vision.
