6. Why? Just why? We literally have no veterans on the team after Nolan leaves. Sure there maybe a couple. But not truly veterans in my opinion. We have a “baby lineup”. The cardinals will suck the next 3-5 years trying to “rebuild”. I’m a numbers guy. Numbers don’t lie! We are spending sooo much money on training and recruiting super young guys. That may or may not be worth it in the future. In my opinion it’s stupid! Especially for the St.Louis Cardinals organization! Who’s known for being competitive every year trying to win a championship! No one fan is happy about this! You’re pretty much telling older people who don’t have long to live that they won’t see their favorite team win a championship again! Then telling us younger people that you’ll have to wait several years for a possible win! It sounds a lot like Chicago cubs franchise! We aren’t like them! We are an always win now team! Until the cardinals get some big name players and get more veterans that are proven to be good on the big stage, your fans will not give you their hard earned money! I personally hope the organization fails until they change!
