Obviously a ton of credit for our success this season has to go to Kenny Atkinson, but I think we have to acknowledge associate head coach Johnnie Bryant as well. I’m not gonna sit here and pretend I’m some expert who knows exactly what he does and what he’s in charge of, but I can tell you that every single game, he’s out of his seat, calling plays, discussing lineups, going over plans with Kenny, and the players clearly respect him and value his words. I haven’t seen anyone talk about him so I thought he needed at least some recognition

Donovan apparently loved him in Utah and that’s a big reason we went after him this summer.

I think there’s a good chance he’s offered a head coach position this offseason. Hes been given a lot of credit for both Brunson and Mobley’s respective leaps, so it’d be well deserved.
I really don’t know how we got him – wasn’t he getting head coach offers this offseason and was already considered one of the top assistants in the league?
