  1. I think it will e miraculous for Bregman to be signed by any team. If you look at each team that supposedly has interest in Bregman and you can make a good argument why Bregman and/or that team will not be interested. That brings us back to the fact that the Astros are just as likely if not more so to resign Bregman.

  2. Congratulations, Eric!!!

I think that the Astros are going to regret losing Tucker and Ryan Pressly.
I don't really care if we lose Bregman, because he's on the decline, and he had a bad attitude last year.
The Astros should have signed Tucker to a long term contract two years ago.
They probably could have signed him to an eight year contract for two hundred million dollars.

I don't miss Carlos Correa because he was full of himself and Bregman seems to have come down with the same affliction.

Incidentally, Eric seems to have a more positive attitude now that he's married. Keep it up! (No pun intended.)

  3. You would think Meyers and McCormick would try to step it up a notch to become superstars. I say that tongue in cheek, but isn't it time? Doesn't the Astros have the batting coach to improve those guys. I think it's time to expect more. There's no room for anyone that can't bring the offensive as well as the defense.

  4. If you say the Astros did the best they could with the cards dealt, how could that be graded a B+ or A- ?
At best, the grade is a C. They lost better players than they brought in with the exception of C. Walker.
I have high hopes for this season but believe that hitting will be an issue.
