  1. The Lakers wanted Williams to pass the physical. That much is clear. He's the missing piece for a potential championship this year..and with Lebron's age, this year is vitally important. If they said Williams was damaged goods, I believe them.

  2. Dan Majerle’s son can be a star player. Just joking, but reminds me of Thunder Dan a lot. Maybe this will light a fire in his belly. Show the front office to not play with his emotions. Let’s go,Dalton!

  3. The player was declared unhealthy by the Lakers. This is not only bad for the player but also for the Hornets and it is a big damage to their image. So it's not surprising that the Hornets are not taking this on themselves. Not to mention that the Hornets made after that another trade to get a Center in Nurkic from the Suns.

  4. Lakers got cold feet, realized they were getting roasted on the trade (usually they're the roasters) and founds b.s. to recind it. Throwing both Mark Williams and the Hornets under the bus while doing it.

  5. Nobody in the league really watches the hornets. If you did, you would see that MW has serious flaws in his game. He can’t shoot beyond 3 feet, he is underweight, he gets dominated by big centers, he doesn’t play defense, and more importantly is lackadaisical and doesn’t appear to have a love for the game. Many times he would play an underwhelming 1st half and get lectured by his coach. He would then appear to get in the game and play decently for 2 quarters. Then the same thing would happen in future games. He is self aware. He would admit on camera that he needed to be more physical and focused but then go out and underperform the next game. I think the Lakers didn’t do their due diligence before executing the trade. They probably did find something health wise that allowed them out of the deal. They did say they were concerned about his Long term durability 5 to 10 years out. However I think the motivator was what they saw in his game and attitude upon further examination. They only had 2 or 3 days to evaluate before the trade. A lot of “pundits” made the same mistake. They looked at his stats and didn’t really do a good job at scouting. I feel for Mark though. His value as a player has been greatly diminished and his confidence all but shattered. Hopefully he can use this as a moment of self reflection and decide whether he really wants to put in the wotk and conditioning to be a quality NBA player.

  6. I think they had buyers remorse Mark Williams had played 23 of the last 28 games they knew he was injury prone from the beginning so if anyone is pulling anything it’s the Lakers

  7. Lakers really got cold feet lol. You think a small franchise like the Hornets would be fighting a massive franchise like the Lakers if they were in the wrong? Everyone said the Lakers overpaid when it was originally accepted. Rob realized that and backed out

  8. Poor Dalton, probably more traumatised and humiliated by what lame horse of a player the Lakers considered swapping him for in what was an uneven trade. It's not very flattering when in your mind you are the newst rookie sensation, competing for end of year honours.

  9. Daulton needs to man up this is your job andbyou play a gamebfor millions…But seeing our center position as it stand the Lakers need to go into this trial admiting fault or being in the wrong however they can…and just get Williams on the team now we desperately need a starting big that would put us over the top…hes played like the last 25 or so games this year so with no problem hes good…

  10. You keep saying that the Lakers found something in his physical that two doctors that cleared him didn't find what is it that they found they're going to have to show what they found and they're going to have to prove that this would not allow him to play and that it injury would occur because of it they can't simply say we don't like the physical and we change our mind so hopefully the league can fix it let Charlotte buy him out Lakers can sign them give Charlotte Dalton connect special circumstances with the peace and integrity of the league so that we're not at war with North Carolina or South Carolina or anybody elsewhere in stands that one enjoy the game and peace can work out the problem we would love to have this young man He's awesome so let's work it out

  11. They can still get Mark Williams no problem All you got to do is sit down and have a conversation The media doesn't control everybody's ability to do or not do there is a God we have and he allows us the ability to sit down and work things out Lakers need Mark Williams they need to sign it give Dalton connect to Charlotte he doesn't want to be here let's move on😮
