I keep seeing all the comments surrounding posts involving Myles Garrett, tee Higgins, draft, etc with the top comments all saying something along the lines of "I trust AP and whatever he decides to do." I share the same sentiments, but my lord, I didn't click on the comments of a post about Myles Garrett to read that everybody likes AP and nobody has an actual opinion on the players. It's ok to say that you would love it if the commanders trade their first round pick for Garrett, or whatever you want the team to do. I like reading the comments of the sub to see what the opinions of the fans are, and it's next to impossible when everybody is repeating the same message about trusting AP and not actually saying if they would want us to go after the player in the post or not.

I get so mad when someone wants to talk about the Commanders on the Commanders sub.
If they’re gonna trade, trade for Garrett. Otherwise, stay away from Higgins and draft lineman. Just my two cents worth everything you guys paid.
I say we trade for Miles Garrett, trade for Deebo, trade for Kupp and sign either Reed or Ward and sign Stanley or Smith, and cut Allen, and sign Ojijawore, and then sign our guys, then extend Terry and then sign whoever left we can afford that can give us starts while using the few picks we have left on a RB a Kicker and d and o line
It’s also ok to not have an opinion and say “I trust AP”
Sign Tee Higgins. I can see it now he’s gonna ball out next season and fans are gonna wish we signed him when none of them thought he was worth the money

Love, love, love this OP.
I state my opinions all the time, but I acknowledge I know nothing and completely trust Peters.
sorry bruh no opinions allowed, only trust in ap
_I trust in AP_
Not me. I had to justify terrible moves for 25-30 years. Now I’m just gonna let AP work.
Nothing more pointless than an individual team mock after the first round.
Build through the draft!
I trust AP and whatever his response to this thread would be is what i support
Yes, I trust AP and I, think we should trade for Garrett and do whatever we can to be in the playoffs and more next season. I hope AP feels the same way. That said If the top comment is ” I trust AP” then that doesn’t mean they do not want to hear or see your opinion it just means people agree with “I trust AP”
A lot of people saying sign Tee, but looking at the 49ers history, they built their WR room through the draft very successfully. I think AP follows that formula by taking a WR in the draft, BUT signs Chris Godwin for immediate help with a team friendly deal.
I do believe he goes all in on Myles Garrett. I expect it’ll take our 1st round pick this year and next at the minimum.
But my opinions are wrong.
I trust AP but not Lisa.
Yes, the off-season where we all post our stupid ideas and speculation runs rampant, but only like 1% of it comes true.
As long as you realize your opinion is useless and the same thing as a monkey throwing darts at a dartboard
I’ll start. If Miles required no picks than I’d 100% be on board. I don’t think we are far enough along, I know we just went to the NFCCG, to give up a picks and money for miles. Call me crazy but 28 going on 29 for a DE now requires a hard push. We need to solidify a CONSISTENT base as a team. I’d rather use the cap and money on the draft and free agency. Just my take.
All the comments I see are along the lines of :
“This is my opinion, but I’m not gonna cry like a bitch and pretend I know everything if AP makes a different decision. ”
That’s called maturity.
This is so true, you can absolutely trust Adam Peters and also share your wrong opinions.
Because posts suggesting trading multiple high round draft picks for big name players who will want a massive contract is implicitly saying you don’t want to do the AP style draft & develop + prudent roster and cap management but would rather we went a bit more Snyder & Vinny like the bad old days.

The thing is I trust AP but I don’t trust myself cause 90 million dollars is a lot of money and I’d probably overpay everyone
He’s a 2nd year GM. It’s also OK to not put 100% faith.
At this point my trust in AP is so high, I voice my opinions just hoping he does the same thing so I can brag I was right.
FR. AP did a great job this last off season but he’s a 2nd year GM and we just have one data point to work with in evaluating his offseason work. I believe he’ll knock it out of the park again but he doesn’t have a track record of consistent draft and FA success yet like Howie Roseman does (as much as I hate to admit it).
Plus at the end of the day – Is the front office really gonna listen to what the Commanders sub Reddit is saying about who they should acquire? Not even a little bit. It’s fun to speculate and fantasize. There’s a reason all of us aren’t GMs.
I totally trust AP in whatever he does, but I’d really like AP to bring back Bobby Wagner, Zach Ertz and Jeremy Chinn. Wagner and Ertz especially though, because I think their presence has helped bring leadership to the team, and I think they’ll be hugely beneficial in the development of Jordan Magee and Ben Sinnott who could probably use another year or two of development before I’d feel comfortable having them in the starting lineup. Hopefully he’ll also extend McLaurin this season, because I really would hate to see Scary Terry hit free agency next year.
Their opinion is to trust him buddy
