  1. Lions are not stable enough for him to come to Detroit . Too many unknowns ,new coaches ,new schemes . Players make plays , but Brad is questionable , Dan is silent , the new coaches may or may not work well together . I’d pass if I was him . Vikings or Packers will be smiling .

  2. The part I'm trying to figure out is if I'm the browns and it's my job to make my team as good as it can be why would I accept 2 first round picks which are essentially two high second round picks for who you just said is the best defensive player in the league 🤷🏿‍♂️

  3. 2025 1st & 3rd
    2026 1st & 3rd

This gives availability to trade up to the Browns in 2025 or 2026 for the QB they want. TBH, this year's QB class isn't that good. Wait for 2026 or 2027. Ask the Lions to throw in Hendon.

  4. The Browns are at a point that they are strapped for cap space because they put so much money into Watson. They were a good team but have been coming a part due to the lack to QB stability. Since they are strapped for space and need to rebuild they need to start collecting assets so I can see them making deals at some point. Brad talks about not mortgaging the future but the future has to be balanced out with winning now too. If you keep trying to build through the draft it will take time for those players to develop and you got to pay the other ones whose time has come that you got from the draft etc. Get this guy if you can Max from the Raiders.

  5. Browns have 12 picks in '25 draft. Almost 28 million over the cap so they have to trade Garrett. They will still have to trim the roster to get below the cap enough to sign 12 draft picks. Any draft picks they get should be for 2026 because they are over the cap. We should send the first and second round in 26 and Kerby Joseph to Cleveland for their 3rd round pick this year. We won't be able to afford both Joseph and Branch on new deals. They will both need 20 million per year to keep.

  6. They have the assets they have the cap space they just don't have a GM with a set of balls.

I don't think Garrett's ever played for Sean Payton or Dan Campbell so thats strike one.

He hasn't had a major injury or injury-prone. Strike two.

Even though Garrett said it's not about the money if he wants anything more than peanuts we'll get the culture fit excuse again. Strike 3

  7. The value that Garrett will bring, in the grander scheme of things, will be marginal compared to the down side. If he were in the autumn of his career with some gas in the tank, then go for it. At the price he will command, not worth it and I'm confident that Holmes is on the same page with that. Don't throw all your chips in on a roll that may not even get you to the SB. I'm glad that sportscasters are not managing the team. Pay him the big money he's expecting and a few years down the road, they're letting go of good players they don't have the money to pay… just is not good management. I don't want to see another Rams -Stafford scenario – after the SB win, 4 years later they seem, maybe to be back in their winning ways.
