On one hand, I’m really happy international best on best is back. I watched the highlights of last night’s game and holy shit it did not disappoint. On the other, I’m sad that my country (Germany) isn’t represented and our brothers-by-language-family Sweden disappoint as always. Do better, NHL and holy shit Sweden play Raymond on the top line you dumb fucks
Larkin is absolutely in the top end talent conversation and should’ve been for years. His ability on display in a best-on-best format is only proof of that.
Raymond is worth his salt and only getting better.
If Larkin and Raymond play with the intensity we’ve been seeing to round out the season I like our chances at post season hockey

Now that nobody is wearing 21 Dylan needs to switch back to his vintage jersey number.
Out of all the good things to come out of this tournament, this one’s sort of dumb, but I’m so happy other teams get to celebrate with Larkin. No one does joy better.
I really hated Matthew Tkachuk, but dropping the gloves on the opening faceoff was the greatest moment of my life and rockstar shit. Stick taps, and he’ll be a lot harder to hate from now on.

Happy for Larkin. This tournament was his audition for the olympics next year I think he’ll make it now.

Not a fan of the showboating/gloating on social media from USA fans. A lot of people forgetting that the final is on Thursday and very well could be a rematch.
At the end of the day, a round robin win is nice, but the tourneys not over.
