Steelers NFL mock drafts: Is Jaxson Dart a Day 1 QB reach? Where do Jalen Milroe, Quinn Ewers fit?
On their weekly Steelers mock draft recap podcast, the Post-Gazette’s Adam Bittner and Christopher Carter recap the week of projected selections for the team from across the Internet.
Is Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss a QB who should be on GM Omar Khan and coach Mike Tomlin’s first-round radar? Or would he be a reach in that spot? And where do other QBs including Jalen Milroe of Alabama and Quinn Ewers of Texas belong in the conversation, as the team also weighs free agents including Justin Fields, Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers?
Is Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins worthy of first-round consideration? Could cornerbacks including Denzel Burke, Darien Porter and Jahdae Brown make sense as defensive backfield options across from Joey Porter Jr.? Why is Notre Dame’s Rylie Mills a name that keeps coming up in multi-round Steelers mocks? And what are Chris’s thoughts on trendy first-round WR picks including Ohio State’s Emeka Egbuka and Texas’ Matthew Golden? Our duo tackles those questions and more.

I don’t think the o states rbs are gonna last till the 3rd
Dart is a good QB, grab him in the 3rd round, value
none of this matters at all because:
TOMLIN SUCKS
It doesn't matter who they draft, they've proven time and time again that they can't develop young players.
Carter is correct. Howard or McCord may be the value pick
Jaxson Dart has more ability than Kenny Pickett, but he is a late 2nd round at the very earliest. Dart or Howard in the 3rd round or 4th round would be nice picks. I wouldn't use any pick on Milroe. Tyler Shough from Louisville might be worth a 7th round pick or as post draft signee. Shough only had one solid year in college, but he has the measurables to make him worth a look.
