  5. Honestly, I'm kind of at the point that I almost hope they finally bottom out this year and finish dead last so we can draft Archie next year. At some point you have to get "your guy" and I'm tired of being on the QB carousel.

    I'd vote to run it back with Fields so long as Arthur is willing to take the leash off… they wanted a mobile QB… when mobile QB's get spooked, they run!
    If you can't trust your QB, you really don't have a QB you got a placeholder collecting a big check.

  11. Noah….. none of these old geezers bro. My thinking is more along the lines with Nick. If you pulled Mahomes or Allen or any other tier 1 QB it is not good enough for us to make a Super Bowl run. We are 4 years behind thanks to 3 years of Matt Canada and last year with RW.

    Our goal should be sign JF to 3 years and build for a Super Bowl run in his second or third year. We should be shooting to get to the playoffs and win at least one playoff game this upcoming season. We also need to go get Josh Dobbs from the 49ers to back up Fields. The dude can be an asset to Justin for helping to read plays and if needed to play he can almost run the same playbook as Justin. Justin needs a solid backup that can help him.

    Facts: Steelers are cheap except on defense.
    QB will be Justin Feilds! And will draft a QB late in the draft. Use Justin as a bridge QB. He sat under Russ last season plus 4 yrs as a starter.
    I’m optimistic, I hope the Oline gets better it works into Fields wheelhouse of mobility. All this for on the cheap, right up Steelers ally.

  18. The Buccaneer’s brought in Brady and won a super bowl. The Broncos brought in Peyton Manning and won a super bowl. The Rams traded for Stafford and won a super bowl. Why can’t the Steelers? Those teams finished in similar ways the Steelers did with out a top 10 quarterback before they brought in so called washed up old quarterbacks.
