6. This isn’t misguided as much as it is misleading….a few roster changes sounds good but when you zoom in it’s at the most key position in QB and key players like WR and DB. Players are getting old and our offensive play calling has behind subpar for the last 6 years. Sooooo the real message is to have tempered expectations and have the Steelers actually show us a different result. Otherwise I’m not moved by any “big” moves or signings caused they’ve all led to the same outcome. Be easy my fellow Steeler fans

7. People that go extremes on their assessments are really stupid and overly emotional. The Steelers don’t suck. Mike Tomlin doesn’t suck. Art Rooney is not clueless and is not satisfied with not winning a playoff game and not being a legit Super Bowl contender. These are all dumb takes.

   The Steelers are a good team. They’re just not a great team right now. They clearly want to be a physically dominant team, which starts with building a good O-line. They have drafted offensive lineman with their top picks over last two years. The problem last season was they had injuries that didn’t allow for the unit to truly gel. People complained about the QBs. They brought in RW and JF. Everyone with functioning brains know that was an upgrade over the last couple seasons.

   The good thing is the Steelers are only a few pieces away. If they can bring back JF or RW for a decent price they will have plenty of cap space to improve the offense in free agency and the draft.

   All you idiots who want the Steelers to blow it up need to grow a brain and get realistic. Winning in the NFL is difficult. Winning a Super Bowl super difficult. It takes great Owner, GM, players, coaches, scouts, some good luck and being good enough to overcome all the obstacles of injuries and other problems that occur during a long season.

   You so called fans need to chill and get real.

8. Jack, they are always just a skip away from being a championship team. Every year. Year, after year, after year, after year. You are not a "stupid Youtuber". You're an intelligent and passionate fan of the Steelers who is trying to make sense of this, and keep hopes up that we WILL contend "next year". But every year we say and do the same things. And going into every year there are always one or two consistencies. That NEVER change. Guess what they are, and guess where they will be at the start of next year. And the next year. And the next year.

The Oline is not solid and not deep. 17 games is too long for a peiced Frankenstein roster.

13. 2024 was a strange year, schedule wise, given that ALL of our divisional games came relatively late in the season and the overall schedule was loaded up with all of our toughest and most important games down the stretch with a really harrowing three game sequence in there. I’m not sure which of those games we win if the schedule was different, maybe none, but there was definitely a downside to negative momentum we experienced through the back half. That said, we lost a game to each of our divisional opponents even the dogshit Browns. Tough to win a division that way given the level of competition in the AFF North

15. A couple pieces? by my count we need 11 pieces at starting positions. On the D side we need a CB and a true NT. On the offense..i'll save some typing…everything but a center and TE! Thats 11 starters BAM a half of a starting lineup away from being a contender to win a super bowl…

    I think we can gamble on Fields, doesn't seem to be much better out there this year anyway without selling the house to get someone. It should be a cheap safe option when we have so many other holes to fill
    GP gotta go but maybe we can get a 2nd for him or fill another hole with a trade. Not gonna replace his talent but there is more to the game than talent
    So we need to draft/pick up in FA/trade for 9 quality players mostly on offense.
    Trading for someone is gonna be a wash most likely, give up someone or a future pick for someone that can plug a hole for us? maybe but its mostly just shifting around the hole we need to plug
    We do have an extra edge rusher that is of some value but considering our injury problems at the position that is a big gamble.
    Draft we can hope we hit on out first three rounds and they all are able to play day 1. 2 day 1 starters might be more reasonable.
    So that leaves us 6 starters (or 7 if we are not being generous with draft picks) we gotta pick up in FA? Yea….not gonna happen.

    You seem to think this offensive line is gonna fix itself. It's not. They are injury prone over rated backups except Frazier. They need replaced too. At least you recognize that without an offensive line it doesn't matter who your QB RD WR's are. Take that next step. Accept the fact that we have 4 positions needing filled with people that can play the game at a NFL level consistently. Saying we are close is a lie.

They have been on that trying to win now Mike Tomlin bullshit for years and nothing has changed and it's not because these coaches and the staff are not creative enough and doesn't have great ideas and they need more creative coaches on the team to help the defensive players and the offensive with much better formate and different sceems they have to pay for the right players and quarterback that wants to when and are Pittsburgh Steelers players in heart and wants to be a Steelers players and bring your all every game and focus on getting better every day every week just my opinion

Appreciate your positivity…however, referring to Tomlin as having what it takes to be a champion by looking at his early years with the team, you forget that he had solid assistant coaching then, which he hasn't had since Munchak left. 32. The top priority is quarterback without the major component you can forget it questioned, do you listen to moving the chains? On Sirius, satellite radio we just be putting a bandate on the problem for another year.

33. We line up on many things but not this. You need a QB, at least one more dynamic WR since your number one is a headcase. Your O line is still questionable. You need a starting caliber RB. That's just offense.
    We can talk about a coach who plays not to lose and has awful decision making and time management. The defense needs pieces. Sorry, we are very far apart on this one.
